It is hard to believe that Bentley is already old enough to begin formal schooling. But August 10 he started in pre-kindergarten (or pre-K) at GSIS. Pre-K is a nice introduction to school with lots of creative things to do every day. His teacher, Kylie Schumacher (from Australia) keeps the kids producing a lot of original work while introducing a lot of learning too. As parents we marvel at everything Bentley gets done in class - which lasts only half a day. Our wonderful boy has proved to me a wonderful student too. Kylie says he seems very comfortable: he is very verbal - talking all the time! This correlates with academic skills in girls and I am sure we'll see the same benefit for Bentley.
